As a practical, interactive, solution-focused counselor, my approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients
resolve current problems and long-standing. unhealthy patterns.  With sensitivity and compassion, I help clients find solutions to
a wide range of life challenges and issues.  

Blending conventional and alternative approaches, I draw on many years of experience working with chidlren and families and
on the advice and counsel of colleagues and mentors.  When clients need help that is outside of my areas of expertise, I link them 
to other professioanls who can best serve their needs.  Working the the counseling and addiction field in the DFW area for over 30
years has allowed me to build relationships with many professioanls in the human services arena.  

I work with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve their goals.  I believe strongly in resiliency theory
and have seen how adversity breeds resilience in children and adults, when given support and guidance.
