Online counseling services, also known as tele-psychology, are available to Texas residents. Depending on where you live, it might be hard to find a counselor address your needs. Online counseling is an innovative way to increase access to an experienced counselor, regardless of geographic location, transportation challenges and other situations. Research in this area indicates that online counseling can be as effective as in-person counseling across children, adolescents, and adults.
It should be noted, however, that online counseling is not appropriate for all clients. When a client’s symptoms require a more intensive level of care, online counseling may not be the most appropriate avenue for treatment. Please contact Pam to determine whether our online counseling services may be right for you.
